The register in her bedroom - the vent cover where conditioned air enters the room - lifted off to reveal a felted mat of hair and dander bridging across the duct opening. We removed the register assembly, ran the Nikro HEPA vacuum on each duct run, and treated the plenum, the central distribution box, with a non-residue sanitizing agent. Remodel Dust in a Downtown Littleton Victorian
A couple on Main Street finished a kitchen and bath remodel in their 1905 Victorian and couldn’t clear the fine particulate no matter how they ran the blower. We found sawdust and tile grout powder caked in the return air ducts, the passages that draw air back to the furnace for reconditioning. Mold Staining in a Columbine Valley Crawl Space System
A Columbine Valley ranch built in the 1970s had original flex duct, the ribbed plastic-and-wire tubing, running through a damp crawl space. The camera showed spotting on the interior that tested as active mold staining, not just dirt.
